The family business is steeped in a proud history and has grown over the decades into a formidable and thriving company that has spanned three generations of the Ferreira family. At Endulini Fruit we pride ourselves on our successful partnerships with key international stakeholders, our acquisition of farms, our development of new generation orchards, and our cutting edge application of best practice technology.

OUR
HISTORY
Our journey began in 1953 with a purpose to build a fresh produce business with integrity. Endulini Fruit’s CEO, Pietie Ferreira, is a third generation farmer heading one of the biggest farming units in the Gamtoos Valley.
The Ferreira’s started Citrus Farming in 1953 with land Espie inherited from his father. Around 1990, Pietie joined his father and later his younger brother, Eppie, also joined them in business. In 1994, when the industry was deregulated, they decided to leave the co-operative and opted to pack and export themselves.
From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a major grower, packer and exporter of South African citrus.
Endulini Fruit’s history of growth and innovation has developed the company into what it is today. Our business is based on the strong values and long-term partnerships that we have with all our stakeholders: our employees, our shareholders, our grower partners, our communities and our customers.

We are an internationally recognised and trusted supplier of citrus, with our principal business being the production, packaging and exporting of citrus fruits.
We are comprised of a number of entities and joint ventures that successfully contribute to agricultural development in South Africa. Our participation in activities from the start of the value chain (farming and packing) all the way to the final step (export), allow for control and reliability of the internal processes.
Our active involvement in each point in the supply chain, means we have developed and specialised in input aggregation, packhouses, cold storage and export, and have continued to grow from strength to strength.
Our mission is to produce, pack and distribute quality citrus fruit in an integrated and sustainable manner to the satisfaction of our clients and stakeholders.
